Do you have a compost pile? A pile of mulch, leaves, or sticks in your backyard or neighborhood? Do your animals leave you a healthy manure pile you use to help amend your soil (where hopefully you did not step or slip)?

We want to see how you "Pile On #4TheSoil!"

All the piles mentioned can help build soil health when used well. Whether keeping the soil covered, maximizing diversity in the soil biology, and/or minimizing soil disturbance, we can all "pile on" for the soil!

Send your photos and descriptions to Mary Sketch-Bryant, Director of the Virginia Soil Health Coalition, msketch2@vt.edu by October 31, 2024.
